If you’ve been struggling to create a consistent practice of personal growth, your current methods may not be inspiring to you. Most highly conscious seekers start their journey by writing in a journal. Many aspire to do daily meditation to clear the mind and get in touch with the higher self. But sooner or later, aspects of these practices become stale, meaningless or just plain hard to keep up. If you feel this way about your daily spiritual practice, you are probably ready to add some color and depth to your life.
Visual journaling activates aspects of the brain writing and talking can’t touch.
Watch this video to learn about visual journaling and how it can help you with your inner work.
This is not about making pretty art… far from it. It’s about connecting with and expressing who you are in a rich and multifaceted way. This process is about self acceptance and emerging into being more fully the amazing creation that you are. As you see your psyche on paper, expressed as many layers and dimensions of colors, shapes and symbols, the aspects of you that don’t speak in words will finally have a voice.
Visual Art Journaling Helps You to…
- Connect with your creative muse
- Overcome the inner wounding of self judgement
- Cultivate courage and self acceptance
- Create a sacred portal for your soul and psyche to emerge

Sandy Freschi is a Level 4 Certified Human Design Specialist who received her initial training and certification from Karen Curry Parker (author of “Understanding Human Design”). She takes an eclectic approach to her ever-deepening understanding of this complex system, and has studied a variety of material from multiple different sources… to include the “Living Your Design” program from the International Human Design School, “The Gene Keys” by Richard Rudd, Foundational Classes for business and Human Design from the BG5 Business Institute, and various books like the Baan Tu and others.
Sandy believes that the wisdom of Human Design is already encoded in you. She strives to make the information of the system as accessible as possible, so that you can easily apply it to your life and unlock your own truth.
A note from Sandy about visual art journaling:
Sometime in late 2016 I picked up a paintbrush in response to a deep yearning in my soul. Something miraculous happened. I found a piece of myself that I never knew existed. It’s not that my art is masterful. But it speaks to me… or rather it speaks through me to show me what I need to know about my journey.
By bringing you this workshop on Visual Art Journaling, I hope that you discover a language that creates a deeper relationship with your soul. I hope that you cultivate a deeper appreciation for the mystery that you are. And above all else, I hope that you are transformed by your own mystery as your journal pages unfold from within you.
